Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team in Lowestoft. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing social and emotional support to our residents, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being.
The Role:
• Provide social and emotional support to residents, either at home and/or in their local community
• Support residents with their personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required
• Assist with shopping and budgeting
• Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
• Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Accompany residents on walks, meals, and other activities they may want to experience
Requirements:
• Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, including Autism, is ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided
• You must be a calm, caring individual with a positive outlook
• Empathy, caring, and sensitivity to the needs of others are essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Computer literacy is necessary
• A car driver is desirable but not essential
