**Complex Needs Support Worker**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team at Reed. As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will be working with a school that serves pupils aged 4 to 19 with a variety of learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical conditions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with complex needs.
- Assist pupils with personal care, mobility, communication, and learning.
- Implement individual education plans, behavior plans, and risk assessments.
- Utilize various strategies and resources to engage pupils in learning activities.
- Monitor and document pupils' progress, achievements, and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or relevant experience with complex needs.
- Understanding of the needs of pupils with complex challenges.
- Positive, patient, and empathetic approach to building rapport with pupils.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Willingness to engage in training and professional development.
