Job Title: Social Worker Lead Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker Lead Practitioner to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision of strengths-based social care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and Supervise Staff: Provide guidance and support to social workers within the team to ensure they meet professional standards and best practices.
  • Safeguarding Adults: Ensure that safeguarding adults at risk is a fundamental element of this role and that principles are embedded in all procedures, practices, professional advice, decisions, and support.
  • Team Leadership: Work alongside and deputise for the team manager to create a supportive team environment, enabling staff to work with individuals to promote independence, choice, and control with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
  • Complex Assessments: Conduct individual complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries to establish clear, relevant, proportionate, and appropriate options for the individual to meet their identified outcomes.
  • Partnership Working: Work in partnership with adults, their families, carers, and advocates, colleagues, and external organisations to provide appropriate professional social work support for vulnerable older people, adults with physical and sensory impairment, or learning disability, and carers.
Essential Experience:
  • Adult Social Care Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working in adult social care as a social worker.
  • Supervisory Experience: Experience of supervising or mentoring social worker staff.
  • Complex Casework: Experience of complex casework.
