As the Assistant Lead Recovery Practitioner (RGN/ODP), your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboratively engaging in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within the surgical theatre department.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care while maintaining clinical excellence and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a valid RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) and have prior experience as a Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner. We also encourage applications from seasoned Senior Recovery Nurses seeking to advance into a leadership position. Experience in Orthopaedics is essential, as is experience in theatre recovery. Familiarity with an Enhanced Care Unit is advantageous but not mandatory. To achieve the upper salary range, candidates should have experience in a private hospital setting.
