Job Opportunity: Senior Risk Manager
Mace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our team. As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading the risk management function on assigned projects, ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated to minimize exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide expert advice and support to project teams on risk management matters.
- Facilitate risk workshops and ensure that risk mitigation action plans are developed and implemented.
- Lead the delivery of project risk analysis and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all risk management activities are carried out in accordance with Mace's risk management policies and procedures.
- Provide line management and mentorship to junior risk managers and other project staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of construction projects and dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience with risk management tools and methodologies, such as MS Excel and Risk Hive.
- Professional membership or certification in a relevant field, such as PRINCE2 or APM.
