Overview

:
This position is dedicated to delivering comprehensive financial services to small enterprises with annual revenues reaching up to $5 million, while actively nurturing and enhancing relationships with valuable and potential clients. The primary responsibilities encompass fostering the profitability of the small business clientele, identifying, cultivating, and achieving results, as well as securing new client prospects through networking, outreach, and developing external referral networks. Job expectations include establishing core small business accounts while adhering to established procedural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the complete client journey to address client needs and drive sales opportunities while minimizing risk Recognizes and refers specialized small business opportunities and solutions to clients while conducting relationship assessments Provides a branded customer experience within aligned sales portfolios by being in the field a minimum of 80% of the time Cultivates relationships with key partners such as Merchant Services, Practice Solutions, Treasury, and Business Banking to expand small business opportunities Utilizes credit knowledge to advise small business owners on solutions, services, and digital capabilities that assist them in achieving their short and long-term business objectives Aids in the execution of the sales delivery model to meet targeted performance and growth of the bank's Small Business segment Mentors, develops, guides, and provides feedback to associates and clients while embodying a client and employee-centric culture

Required Qualifications:

Proven success in consultative sales within financial services or business-to-business sales Ability to demonstrate examples of enhancing specific businesses' financial outcomes by analyzing financial statements and recommending specific strategies Passionate about outside sales and enjoys engaging in prospecting activities Aims to strengthen existing relationships and surpass sales targets Capable of analyzing clients' financial conditions and industry trends Proficient in understanding and interpreting financial statements and cash flow analysis Excellent communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities Enjoys collaborating and negotiating with a team of bank professionals to resolve client issues Demonstrated management of a client portfolio with a focus on relationship development and enhancement Comprehensive knowledge of small business financial products and services Familiarity with CRM platforms and other banking systems

Desired Qualifications:

Community leadership experience Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics preferred or seven years of relevant work experience
