Business Banking Specialist

Overview
This position is dedicated to delivering a wide range of financial services tailored to small enterprises with annual revenues reaching up to $5 million. The role focuses on nurturing and enhancing relationships with valuable clients and those with potential growth opportunities. Key duties involve driving profitability within the small business customer segment, identifying new client prospects, and fostering connections through networking and referrals. The role also entails the establishment of essential small business accounts while following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees the complete client experience to meet client needs and promote sales opportunities while managing risk Recognizes and directs specialized small business opportunities and solutions to clients through relationship assessments Provides a consistent customer experience within designated sales portfolios by spending at least 80% of time in the field Cultivates partnerships with key stakeholders such as Merchant Services, Practice Solutions, Treasury, and Business Banking to expand small business prospects Utilizes credit expertise to guide small business owners on solutions, services, and digital tools that align with their business objectives Aids in executing the sales delivery framework to reach targeted performance and growth within the bank's Small Business division Mentors, develops, and provides constructive feedback to team members and clients while promoting a client-focused cultureRequired Qualifications:
Proven track record in consultative sales within financial services or business-to-business environments Ability to showcase examples of enhancing financial outcomes for businesses through financial statement analysis and strategic recommendations Enthusiastic about outside sales and enjoys engaging in prospecting activities Committed to strengthening existing relationships and surpassing sales targets Capable of analyzing clients' financial conditions and industry trends Proficient in interpreting financial statements and conducting cash flow analyses Excellent communication skills coupled with demonstrated leadership capabilities Enjoys collaborating and negotiating with a team of banking professionals to resolve client challenges Demonstrated experience managing a client portfolio with an emphasis on relationship enhancement Comprehensive knowledge of small business financial products and services Familiarity with CRM systems and other banking technologiesDesired Qualifications:
Community involvement and leadership experience Strong computer proficiency with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics, or seven years of relevant experienceSkills:
