Futura Design Limited is seeking a skilled Automotive Integration Systems Support Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions within the automotive sector.
Position Summary
As an Automotive Integration Systems Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored integration solutions to our clients, enhancing their operational efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for the Automotive Integration Systems product, collaborating closely with various teams to develop comprehensive support documentation and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and verify the functionality of the Automotive Integration Systems Logic Tool concerning Logic Blocks and vehicle capabilities.
- Conduct thorough research of existing materials and validate findings using vehicles and simulators.
- Create user-friendly documentation that explains the fundamental workings of the logic tool, including technical manuals and instructional videos (on-camera presence is not required).
- Develop application examples that illustrate how convertors can utilize the tool to fulfill their specific needs, with assistance from the engineering team.
- Collaborate with the Intelligence Software Team and Technical Team to incorporate help resources into the Logic Tool and online platforms.
- Engage with the Vehicle Conversion Advisory Service (VCAS) team and Technical team to ensure that resources are accessible to convertors and to educate the VCAS team on available support materials.
- Potentially deliver training sessions on the Automotive Integration Systems product across various regions, depending on the candidate's expertise.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in technical writing.
- Basic understanding of programming principles.
- Experience with video screen capture and editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical integration in vehicle conversions is advantageous.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years in the automotive industry.
- Experience in the converted vehicle sector is preferred.
- Proven track record in producing technical support documentation is desirable.
- Experience utilizing programming support platforms such as Stack Overflow is beneficial.
Educational Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
