Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Tier 1 Suppliers related to active safety features across various OEM vehicles.
  • Manage and support six distinct vehicle lines, focusing on Tier 1 Supplier interactions.
  • Lead project management efforts for multiple vehicle programs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and challenges of safety-related features.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with OEM and internal teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct onsite software updates and re-flashing for vehicle modules.
  • Perform calibration testing for all vehicle sensors.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported on test vehicles in collaboration with Tier 1 Suppliers.
  • Manage concerns and alert releases for vehicle programs.
  • Provide Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) support, including software updates and debugging.
  • Support software updates and debugging on bench setups.
  • Assist with documentation related to software releases.
  • Provide mechanical support for vehicle alignment and component fitting.
  • Address field issues reported by customers regarding vehicle components.
  • Participate in program team meetings to enhance planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated success in a similar engineering role.
  • Familiarity with vehicle production processes and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of active safety components, including ADAS, FWC, MRR, and SRR.
  • Experience in leading the integration of new features into vehicles.
  • Expertise in HIL and calibration testing methodologies.
  • Extensive background in software flashing, debugging, and testing.
  • Understanding of mechanical aspects to ensure proper vehicle assembly.
  • Strong skills in conducting review meetings with OEMs and customers.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to company policies and safety standards.
  • Valid UK driving license or equivalent.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
