The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software for automotive applications using Python.
- Creating and executing test cases using Gherkin syntax to ensure software meets requirements and specifications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implementing behaviour-driven development (BDD) practices to improve software quality and maintainability.
- Debugging and resolving software issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Documenting software designs, test plans, and test results.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive software development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development using Python.
- Experience with behaviour-driven development (BDD) and writing test cases in Gherkin.
- A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive software standards and protocols (e.g., AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with version control systems such as Github.
- Familiarity with automotive hardware and embedded systems.
- Understanding of machine learning and data analysis techniques.
