We are in search of an Automotive EMC Solutions Engineer who will collaborate directly with an automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to guarantee effective EMC implementation in their vehicle projects.
The ideal candidate will be a project engineer or manager with a strong customer-centric approach, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a clear command of the English language for both written and verbal communication. You should possess exceptional organizational skills, be dependable, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team under tight deadlines. Location: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days travel)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the program delivery team, your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and reviewing EMC documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Collaborating with internal EMC teams and managing all project interactions.
- Providing status updates and scheduling reports to project and program stakeholders.
- Coordinating vehicle EMC chamber bookings.
- Ensuring vehicle programs are effectively managed and compliant with OEM and international EMC standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Professional demeanor with a robust customer focus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex vehicle system projects.
- Prior experience as an engineer in the automotive sector, collaborating closely with various engineering disciplines.
- Experience in metrics tracking and reporting for hardware projects.
- Ability to identify obstacles and develop effective remediation plans.
- Capability to prioritize new tasks and adapt to rapidly changing program demands.
- Understanding of UNECE Reg 10 or similar requirements.
