Bertrandt is a leading international development service provider with a strong presence in the automotive industry. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Feature Systems Engineer to join our team in the UK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge features and technologies for the automotive industry. As an Automotive Feature Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features from concept to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that features meet customer needs and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems engineering approaches to new feature design
  • Lead the development of new features from early concept to production
  • Collaborate with program teams, core engineers, and functional areas to create balanced solutions
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams and supply base to learn about the latest technologies
  • Analyze complex systems and implement innovative solutions
  • Communicate complex systems and issues in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with vehicle electrical systems and/or features
  • Strong systems thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Quality Documents (DFMEA, LFMA, and boundary diagrams)
  • Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model
