About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance service and small projects across a multi-site defence contract. You will be responsible for managing subcontractor performance, site compliance, and developing excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver seamless customer service while managing our maintenance service covering Electrical, Fabric, Plumbing, Mechanical/AC service streams.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Oversee small projects up to £100k, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing an engineering team.
  • Experience managing client expectations and building strong relationships.
  • Experience delivering projects up to £100k, adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Strong understanding of CDM, Health & Safety, and Compliance (SFG20) legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • SMSTS & IOSH Tech qualifications.
