Job Summary:

GSL Education - Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students with unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with specific learning needs.
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans.
  • Work closely with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to support students effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage their engagement and well-being.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to create a comprehensive support system.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to take initiative and work well within a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Commitment to supporting young people's learning and development.
