Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside teachers to support the learning and development of students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans that address students' specific needs, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, promoting student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide regular feedback and support to students, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve academic success.

Requirements

  • Possess a relevant qualification in education support, such as a CACHE Level 2 or 3.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
  • Have an updated CV, covering the last ten years, and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
  • Be ambitious to work within the education sector, with a passion for supporting the development of young learners.
