About the Role

Golden Lane Housing Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our properties, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a high-performance culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee service contracts for Repairs and Maintenance, ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure GLH properties are safe for tenants and meet performance requirements, KPIs, quality, and GLH's delivery standards.
  • Actively promote and drive a high-performance culture centred on service delivery and target achievement.
  • Escalate any compliance breaches to the Head of Quality & Assurance.
  • Contribute to the Lease Renewal Process from a Property Services perspective, providing valuable advice and insight on scheme or Landlord performance.
  • Monitor the quality of GLH homes and ensure that both internal and external contractors deliver to a high standard.
  • Assist in the investigation of any complaints made in relation to property services, supporting the Quality & Assurance Manager to respond to and close complaints.

Requirements:

  • HNC, Electrical, Gas or Compliance qualification. Equivalent in maintenance or property related discipline will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role.
  • Building maintenance legislation and procedures.
  • Financial control of capital programmes.
  • Building surveying and inspection.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Commitment to the principles of customer service and Resident involvement.
  • Ability to analyse data and submit written reports.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own time and workload with minimum supervision.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn about working with people with learning disabilities.
