We have three main business segments:

  1. Corporate Secretary: We provide automated incorporation, secretarial, filing, nominee director, mailroom, and immigration services through our custom online robots and SleekSign. We are the market leaders in Singapore, with a significant market share of new business incorporations.
  2. Accounting and Bookkeeping: We redefine what it means to do accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and payroll through our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, generative AI tools, and exceptional customer service.
  3. Business Banking: We offer digital banking services to new businesses, overcoming a key challenge for entrepreneurs.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Client Portfolio Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounting clients and providing world-class customer service and professional accounting advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of accounting clients to achieve client satisfaction and retention.
  • Plan and provide effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff to ensure timely deliverables according to the scope of services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and related financial reporting matters.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain good rapport with clients.
  • Prepare full sets of books and records, including payments, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journals, and preparing financial reports in Xero.
  • Prepare Unaudited/Group Unaudited Financial Statements for clients.
  • Provide consultancy advice to clients on various accounting, tax, and payroll matters.
  • Review the work of your Accounting/Tax team.
  • Review VAT quarterly filings and assist clients in resolving tax issues with the tax authority.
  • Oversee payroll support for clients and liaise with the Payroll Manager.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Recognized degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA).
  • Ideal 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to prepare Group accounts preferred.
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and client management.
  • Meticulous and detailed.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UK compliance requirements on accounting, corporation tax, and payroll.
  • Experience with cloud accounting software, Xero & Dext preferred.
