About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Design Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automation within our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed designs using CAD software to ensure optimization and feasibility.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to underpin your design decisions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, modifications, and project progress.
  • Prepare project costings, including BOMs, to support the financial aspects of design.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation to guarantee design performance and reliability.
  • Provide crucial support for modifications and design changes during the build and commissioning stages.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, showcasing your strong foundation.
  • Proven experience in equipment design and development, ready to be applied in a dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in 3D CAD, opening the doors to innovative design solutions.
  • A solid understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing processes, setting the stage for efficiency and excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, making you a standout team player.
