This is an opportune moment to become part of our dynamic team.

What we seek...

We are looking for a seasoned Project Engineer to join our team at the Cumbernauld facility. This position has been created in response to an uptick in capital projects, where you will collaborate closely with the Project Engineering Manager and Senior Project Engineer, focusing on the planning and execution of capital initiatives outlined in our five-year strategy.

  • Developing health and safety enhancements
  • Formulating short and long-term strategies to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs

Your responsibilities will encompass...

As a Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of designated Capital Projects at our Cumbernauld site
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and budget while managing relationships with external clients and key stakeholders
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization to define project objectives and benefits while preventing scope creep
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to build and lead project teams
  • Providing regular project updates to the business and stakeholders
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, budget updates, and risk assessments
  • Conducting thorough project reviews to capture lessons learned

What you will bring...

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in an engineering discipline and have extensive experience in project or operations development. You should be well-versed in the complete project lifecycle, from initial briefings to capital proposals, budgeting, installation, and commissioning.

Your strong leadership and communication abilities will enable you to cultivate effective working relationships with both internal teams and external partners, as well as to lead and inspire project teams.

Above all, you will be a proactive self-starter with the capability to make an immediate impact.
