About the Role:

C&E Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef De Partie to join our client's award-winning culinary team in a luxury 5-star hotel. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional pastry dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own section of the pastry kitchen, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative desserts and pastries that complement our hotel's dining experiences.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong passion for creating exceptional pastry dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
