We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team as a Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the consultant service across a range of tumour types, including attending consultant-led out-patient clinics and undertaking related administrative and chemotherapy prescribing tasks.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Contribute to clinical governance and audit activities, helping to drive quality improvement and best practice within our department.
- Participate in teaching and training activities, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.
- Extensive experience in clinical oncology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
