About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Performance and Operations Manager to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our Division of Women's and Children's Services, you will play a crucial role in managing performance and operational activities across the division.

Main Responsibilities

Working closely with the Performance and Operations Manager and Divisional Management team, you will contribute to the delivery of efficient services across the Children's Hospital. Your expertise will be essential in managing performance and operational activities, including:

  • Managing performance and operational activities across the division
  • Working closely with the Performance and Operations Manager and Divisional Management team
  • Contributing to the delivery of efficient services across the Children's Hospital
  • Managing and maintaining the schedule for outpatient clinic rooms
  • Line managing medical secretaries and clinic coordinators

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing a range of staff and adhering to HR processes
  • Experience of motivating and developing a team
  • Patient/customer-focused experience
  • Experience of managing complaints and incidents to resolve in a timely manner
  • Proven experience of formally training and managing staff performance
