We are seeking a skilled Composites Technician to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality fibre-based materials components.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture fibre-based materials components using various techniques, including layup, resin impregnation, and curing methods.
- Process fibre-based materials through material layup, resin impregnation, VARTM or Autoclave based curing methods followed by finishing processes.
- Support in the assembly of R&D and flight hardware.
- Contribute to the development of Manufacturing Assembly Procedures (MAPs) and Test Procedures.
- Support facility management and collaborate with Project PA Managers to define and write qualified MAIT processes.
- Identify and propose process improvements and support their implementation.
- Visit sub-contractors/suppliers as required.
- Strong discipline in engineering knowledge with very strong experience in Assembly of precision components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varying hours to meet schedules.
