Propulsion Systems Specialist

As a Propulsion Systems Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of highly skilled individuals, all driven by a shared passion for innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Definition of Propulsion Subsystem requirements;
- Support in the analyses for the propulsion subsystem;
- Support for satellite propulsion AIV activities
- Definition of propulsion tests plan, specifications, setup and procedures;

Requirements:

- Experience in propulsion test planning and execution;
- Experience with fluidic/pressurized test equipment, methods, and guidelines;
- Experience with safety-related issues of propulsive/pressurized development and testing, also involving hazardous materials such as flammable gasses and oxidizers;
- Analytical and modelling skills;
- Knowledge of propulsion subsystems for in-space applications;
- Familiarity with procedure definition and management;
- The capability of autonomous working;
- Previous knowledge in acquisition systems and data processing;
- Knowledge of thermodynamics;
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules;

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, C, Matlab, others);
- Knowledge of CAD modelling software;
- Familiarity with ECSS Standards;
- Familiarity with EcosimPro-PROOSIS;
- Familiarity with safety measures for propulsion subsystems;

Education:

Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Aerospace/Space Engineering or similar.

Professional Experience:

Work experience of 3 years in space/aeronautical industries.

Language:

- Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of Italian is a plus.
