Penny Farthing is a Victorian-style residential home located in New Milton, on the edge of the New Forest. Our home provides a supportive environment for four individuals with varying needs.

Our Team

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, who can provide high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a close-knit team that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as food preparation, shopping, and accessing the community
  • Provide personal care and administer medication as needed
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities, such as swimming, bowling, and dancing
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote independence and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors or supporting people on a 2:1 basis
  • Ability to work alternative weekends and flexible shift patterns
  • Driver with own car preferred, but not essential
