Overview
As a key member of the Triumph Group's supply chain team, the Work Transfer Manager will be responsible for managing the transfer of work between suppliers in the UK and those in lower-cost economies. This role will involve close collaboration with the in-region team and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of work and minimize risks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the business and supply chain resources in lower-cost economies for work transfer projects
• Manage work transfer projects in accordance with Triumph's supply chain management processes, including defining project deliverables, risk assessments, and project planning
• Collaborate with business functions such as Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure the successful transfer of product and part manufacturing knowledge to the in-region team
• Work with the in-region team to ensure supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness, and first article flow plans are robust and in place to deliver projects in compliance with customer requirements
• Support visits from suppliers in lower-cost economies for business reviews and technical assessments
• Manage purchase orders for parts in the work transfer phase and exit supplier relationships to ensure a smooth transition and minimize risks
• Provide regular updates to the business, OpCo leadership, and corporate supply chain leadership on work transfer progress and identify areas for improvement
• Support the improvement of Triumph's supply chain processes
Performance Measures include:
Meeting reporting deadlines, achieving goals through ongoing appraisal, and demonstrating strong project management skills.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business management-related subject, such as supply chain or engineering, or a related field. CIPS or APICS qualification is preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong project management skills and experience, excellent organizational skills, time management, and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing operations, and production planning concepts. Excellent IT skills, including MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration, and teamwork across international and multicultural workforces.

Strong leadership and communication skills, assertiveness, diplomacy, ability to work comfortably with senior management, autonomy, respect, agility, goal-oriented, courage, and trust.
