About the Role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our care teams across various locations in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel across the region to manage and develop care teams in various care homes
  • Work closely with General Managers to implement action plans that ensure high-quality care and service
  • Take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, including managing care standards and motivating teams
  • Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals and improve resident outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development. You will also need to have experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
