Position Overview
The University of York is offering up to two positions for either a Research Associate or Research Fellow dedicated to the assurance of AI-driven autonomous systems. These roles are part of the Centre for Assuring Autonomy (CfAA) and will allow you to influence the secure deployment of AI-based autonomous technologies across various sectors. This opportunity is particularly appealing for individuals interested in the intersection of safety and security within machine learning frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will engage in significant research activities while also collaborating with industry partners and regulatory bodies both within the UK and potentially on an international scale. The CfAA promotes a multidisciplinary approach, providing a platform for you to gain insights from professionals across diverse fields.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A first degree in computer science or a related field, along with a completed PhD focusing on AI or machine learning, preferably with an emphasis on the safety or security aspects of ML models.
