Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neuromodulation Research Fellow to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This 1-year fellowship is designed to further the development of expertise in neuromodulation and support the growth of our research portfolio.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will have protected time for high-quality supervised research, engaging in NIHR portfolio studies related to pain and neuromodulation. They will also be required to develop and deliver investigator-initiated, industry-funded studies that align with the strategic direction of both the funder and the neuromodulation service.

About the Role

The Neuromodulation Research Fellow will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality research and contribute to the development of our neuromodulation service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in setting up and developing a neuromodulation service, as well as contributing to the growth of our research portfolio.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in anaesthesia and pain medicine, with experience in teaching and mentoring. The successful candidate will have a commitment to continuing professional development and further postgraduate education.
