Research Associate in AI Safety and Human-Centred Design

The successful candidate will have a strong research background and the ability to work collaboratively with industry and regulators in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on the use of AI in healthcare and develop human-centred approaches for AI system design and safety assurance.
- Collaborate with industry and regulators to advance the development and evaluation of human-centred AI systems.
- Contribute to the development of safety cases and safety arguments for AI systems.
- Work as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team to advance the field of human-centred AI.
- PhD in Computer Science, Safety, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of researching the use of AI in healthcare and developing human-centred approaches for AI system design and safety assurance.
- Competency to conduct human factors studies and develop safety cases and safety arguments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with industry and regulators and contribute to the development of human-centred AI systems.
