Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic and developing Design Teams. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for project management and design of a wide variety of bridge replacement, strengthening and maintenance schemes, as well as the inspection and assessment of current bridges and other highway structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and project manage bridge replacement, strengthening and maintenance schemes
  • Inspect and assess current bridges and other highway structures
  • Work closely with senior members of the team to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant design standards, construction methods and contract procedures

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of relevant design standards (Eurocodes), construction methods and contract procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of bridge design and construction
