The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Manager. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, while leading and mentoring our care staff to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high standards of care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Lead and mentor the care team to deliver exceptional care and outcomes.
- Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
- Manage wound care and ensure that care procedures are carried out according to policy.
- Administer and record medications according to policy and statutory requirements.
- Provide personal care for residents, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort to residents.
- Carry out staff supervision and appraisals, ensuring the development and growth of our team members.
- Implement changes in routine and procedures as agreed with the Manager.
- Assess prospective clients and residents, ensuring their needs are met.
- Complete the duty rota as necessary.
- Participate in internal quality audits and contribute to the development of our care services.
- Assist the Manager in working within agreed budgets.
