Urban Planner

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Town Planner to join our team at Bluestone Planning Partnership LLP. As a Graduate Town Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning projects, working closely with our experienced team to prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and local plan representations.

• Conduct research on site constraints, planning policies, and site histories to inform planning applications and appeals.
• Prepare accurate and persuasive planning statements to support planning applications and appeals.
• Submit planning applications and appeals, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Liaise with planning officers, clients, and third-parties to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
• Support senior colleagues in progressing projects from inception to completion, providing administrative and technical assistance as needed.

• A good understanding of planning objectives and principles, with a strong foundation in planning theory and practice.
• Experience in processing planning applications from preparation to submission, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written work.
• A professional approach to dealing with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for planning.
• A willingness to learn and develop skills, with a strong desire to progress in a planning career.
