About Our Care Home

At Gold Care Homes, we offer exceptional care for residents in a warm and welcoming environment. Our 82-bedded care home in Wantage is conveniently located near local attractions, allowing residents to enjoy regular shopping trips and social events.

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans to meet individual resident needs
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Monitor and improve care home operations to ensure compliance with CQC standards
  • Manage budgets and resources to maintain a profitable care home
  • Promote the care home's reputation through effective marketing and communication

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in care home management, with a track record of delivering high-quality care
  • Leadership and management qualifications, such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
