Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead our new Child Poverty Strategy Team within the Education Service of North Ayrshire Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will become an integral member of North Ayrshire's Tackling Child Poverty and Cost of Living Board, playing a critical role in progressing and mobilising support through key strategic drivers of child poverty.

As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for devising and delivering a programme of change initiatives that deliver impact across North Ayrshire, working closely with stakeholders to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Child Poverty Strategy, aligned with North Ayrshire Council's priorities
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver programme objectives, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, partners, and other agencies
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
