Retail Store Manager

As a key member of our team, the Store Manager will play a vital role in driving the success of our stores. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading specialist retailer of greeting cards, dressings, and gifts, with a strong focus on customer experience and colleague development.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and commercial growth in line with our 5-year strategy.
- Colleague Development: Coach, train, and develop colleagues within the store, identifying and harnessing their strengths and building on development areas.
- Team Leadership: Recruit and manage a team of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Assistants, ensuring they reflect our values and behaviours and possess the required skill set to meet our business needs.
- Commercial Decision Making: Make informed decisions around stock availability and merchandising, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Performance Management: Provide constructive and beneficial feedback to the store team, District, and Regional Managers, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage previous experience as a store manager within a retail environment, working collaboratively with wider stakeholders across the business.
