Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health issues, learning disabilities, and autism.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of the SLT service within inpatient specialist mental health services.
- Carry a caseload, completing assessments and interventions, including assessment and management of communication needs, dysphagia/eating and drinking difficulties.
- Advise on inclusive communication strategies for people with a range of mental health needs and co-occurring conditions.
- Offer advice, training, and consultation to other clinicians and support staff.
- Take a key role in improving the identification and support of people on the autistic spectrum.
