Senior Speech and Language Therapist for Autism Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at Eden Brown Synergy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering speech and language therapy services to children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in educational settings, family hubs, and home visits.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or masters in Speech and Language Therapy, registration with RCSLT and HCPC, and at least 2+ years of experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with children, young people, and their families. Experience working with children and young people with ASD diagnosis is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake Autism diagnostic assessments for 3 days per week as part of the MDT, writing reports following the DSM5 and supporting a decision as part of the team. The post can focus exclusively on this area or include other SLT service delivery activities at the successful applicant's request.
The MDT consists of a Speech and Language Therapist Lead, Specialist, Senior and Junior SLTs, Early Years Teacher, Speech and Language Therapy Assistants, and a Business Support Team. To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Autism and experience in working with children and young people with ASD.
Preferred qualifications include training relevant to the role, experience in undertaking Autistic diagnostic assessments and writing reports, experience supervising and coaching others, experience in monitoring service outcomes, and experience in using Microsoft Office 365 suite.
