About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Community Fundraising. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our community fundraising efforts and make a real difference in the lives of those who serve or have served in the Royal Air Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of community fundraisers across the UK, providing guidance and support to ensure successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and budgets, working closely with the senior leadership team to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, charities, and corporate partners, to secure funding and support for our work.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of fundraising efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of fundraising campaigns, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in community fundraising, with a strong track record of success in securing funding and support.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK.
