This role offers a hybrid working model.

The compensation package includes a salary of approximately £115k along with a 20% performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management

  • Oversee cash management for all affiliates, performing root cause analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending measures for cash flow enhancement.
  • Manage the reporting and forecasting models for the business, utilizing both Direct and Indirect methodologies.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports for the executive team and participate in strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis and Operations teams to ensure alignment of cash forecasts with operational KPIs.
  • Lead initiatives for process enhancements and digital transformation projects.

Accounting & Consolidation

  • Supervise accounting functions (including cash) for various regions and the central team.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and Group guidelines across the entire business scope, driving necessary accounting changes and process improvements.
  • Maintain relationships with external statutory auditors.
  • Guarantee accurate financial submissions and adherence to IFRS and Group accounting standards.

Internal Control and Audit Duties

  • Develop and review the internal controls roadmap and annual action plans.
  • Lead internal control and audit initiatives, coordinating with the headquarters audit team.
  • Communicate audit findings to senior management and other stakeholders, initiating projects to strengthen internal controls.
  • Enhance awareness and compliance of internal controls through training and communication efforts.
  • Oversee insurance matters and collaborate with the legal team on compliance issues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Exhibit a proactive approach combined with a strong team-oriented mindset and independence.
  • Possess a mindset that challenges the status quo and demonstrates curiosity.
  • Demonstrate high personal integrity and the ability to cultivate relationships.
  • Showcase strong problem-solving abilities and business insight.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Hold a Master's Degree in Corporate Finance or a related field.
  • Bring over 7 years of relevant experience within the FMCG and Retail sectors.
  • Have a solid understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards.
  • Be qualified (ACCA or ACA) or possess equivalent experience in financial accounting.
  • Have prior managerial experience in cash management, accounting, or internal audit.
