As Group Head of Non-Financial Risk Management and Oversight, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing our non-financial risk strategy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of the non-financial risk management strategy across the organization
  • Ensure the non-financial risk oversight framework is suitable for the range of activities undertaken across the group and that oversight activity is appropriate and proportionate
  • Manage a global team of non-financial risk professionals to ensure the application of global standards
  • Report to senior management on DWS non-financial risk exposures relative to its' risk appetite and tolerance
  • Develop and manage relationships with regulators across jurisdictions and business lines in which DWS operates
  • Provide due diligence and direction to optimise delivery of non-financial risk and control reviews and assurance initiatives
  • Lead the delivery of non-financial risk training and support to DWS senior management

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in non-financial risk management across multiple risk types
  • Strong understanding of global regulations and industry best practices
  • Proven track record of assessing suitability of risk frameworks and developing and implementing them effectively
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a global cross-functional team
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to execute against tight deadlines
  • Advanced degree level in a financial related discipline and with relevant professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills; German language a strong plus
