Financial Oversight Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our Board of Trustees. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic financial oversight and ensure that our financial affairs are legal, constitutional, and in line with accepted accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level financial oversight and guidance to the Board of Trustees
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance to ensure effective financial management
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform decision-making
- Proven experience in financial governance and compliance
- Strong financial analysis and planning skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience working with Boards of Trustees or similar governance structures
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
