As a Property Services Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity of the academy.

Your Responsibilities:


In this position, you will thrive if you have a background in maintenance along with a solid understanding of health and safety standards. You will be responsible for providing essential porter services and must hold a valid, clean driving license. The ability to work autonomously and manage tasks under pressure is crucial. Flexibility in working hours and a proactive attitude are also essential attributes for success in this role.


About the Organization:


The Facilities Team at Thomas Deacon Education Trust (TDET) is integral to the seamless operation of all schools and academies within the Trust. This dedicated group is tasked with ensuring the security, functionality, and cleanliness of the facilities, thereby fostering a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.


The team collaborates across various locations within the Trust, delivering vital services such as managing access, lighting, and heating systems, in addition to providing porter services and handy-person skills. Their efforts are essential in supporting the educational mission of TDET, allowing educators to concentrate on teaching and learning.


By maintaining a well-kept physical environment, the Facilities Team significantly enhances the overall success and well-being of the educational community.
