We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and effective leader to join our management team. This individual will serve as the second-in-command during the absence of the site manager, overseeing, mentoring, and inspiring the team.
What will my responsibilities include?
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations in the absence of management. Your leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring the team functions efficiently, driving sales, enhancing profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Main Duties:
Manage inventory and stock control, including conducting weekly stock takes and generating reports. Ensure external sale items are adequately stocked and displayed. Monitor fuel stock levels by assessing current volumes, on-site stock, and delivery schedules. Continuously work to minimize waste and inefficiencies. Evaluate and refine processes to boost efficiency and maximize output. Address customer inquiries effectively. Report any store or employee concerns to the Store Manager. Maintain and enforce Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene standards. Ensure accurate banking and cash handling procedures are followed. Oversee cash floats and ensure proper cashing up. Complete banking summaries and reports, performing necessary checks. Adhere to age-restricted item policies and verify customer IDs.What benefits are offered?
