Eurasia and North Africa Regional Financial Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified accountant with experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in financial account management and system oversight. The role of Regional Accountant for Eurasia and North Africa (ENA) requires expertise in budget development and institutional funding management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and solution-oriented financial support to the ENA Region.
- Ensure high-quality financial reporting for projects is delivered punctually.
- Assist in maintaining effective controls and compliance with financial regulations.
- Identify risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
Essential Experience:
- Experience in financial capacity building.
- Proficient in accounting software and online financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and financial management.
- Experience in donor financial reporting and compliance.
- Support for program teams in project design and management.
Required Skills:
- Ability to analyze and convey complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
- Capacity to work independently and make informed decisions within established frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across diverse locations.
- Proficient in financial management tools, including MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Effective organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Candidate Profile:
- Certified accountant with ACCA qualification.
- Strategic thinker with a commitment to the mission and values of Tearfund.
- Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Location: This position will be based in one of the countries within the ENA region, with frequent travel expected. Salary will be determined based on the location.
