Job Title: Junior Resource Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Resource Manager to join our Resource Management team at Marks, part of SGS & Co. As a Junior Resource Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by scheduling tasks, monitoring progress, and optimizing resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date project planning system and monitor project progress
  • Adjust work in progress to ensure timely delivery and optimize resource utilization
  • Provide daily status updates to project managers and stakeholders
  • Create a monthly forecast to ensure effective planning and resource allocation
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across departments
  • Identify and escalate potential issues to the Studio Operations Manager
  • Maintain the balance and flow of information throughout all departments
  • Work closely with the Studio Operations Manager to discuss freelance booking requirements
  • Actively identify and suggest process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Problem-solving ability with knowledge of design workflow best practices
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Insightful relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate resiliency
  • Collaborative approach to working within the team
