Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Director of Private Jets Operations. This role demands a deep understanding of the private aviation industry, with a proven track record in business development, client relations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the private jet division, ensuring superior client experience, operational excellence, and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement initiatives to maintain a competitive edge, leveraging expertise in fleet management and operational efficiency.
  • Create and manage financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability, with a strong focus on financial acumen.
  • Oversee daily operations of booked flights within the team, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and maintaining a safety-first culture.
  • Build and nurture relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients, providing customized service and solutions to meet their travel needs.
  • Lead business development efforts, identifying new opportunities for growth and partnerships, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the booking, flight, and post-flight processes.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a positive and safety-first culture, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the division.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in private aviation or luxury travel, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of sales staff, with a proven track record in business development and client relations in the aviation industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to handle pressure, solve problems, and make critical decisions in a high-stakes environment.
  • Deep understanding of aviation regulations, fleet management, and operational efficiency, with excellent client relationship skills and the ability to work with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, and the ability to hold a full UK driver's license.
