Location: Royal Borough of Greenwich
We are looking for a committed and proactive Building Safety Communication Specialist to become a part of our Private Rented Sector Housing Regulation and Fire Safety Team. This role is essential in crafting communication and engagement strategies, addressing customer inquiries, and offering casework assistance related to building safety and private sector housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation and execution of communication and engagement strategies while performing general administrative tasks related to building safety and private sector housing.
- Ensure that all necessary information is gathered, accurately entered, and documented in the appropriate database system. Provide timely and precise information and casework responses to clients.
- Deliver a high-quality, customer-oriented resident liaison service, maintaining a consistent and proactive approach.
- Support building safety initiatives by drafting Housing Act 2004 Notices under sections 235 and 239, and Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, section 16.
- Prepare draft notices for review and approval by the Principal Environmental Health Officer & Fire Safety Lead and Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure the effective achievement of building safety objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in utilizing web-based databases, including the collection, accurate entry, and documentation of information.
- Flexibility and readiness to manage diverse caseloads based on incoming workloads and team priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
