Position Overview: VAM Portfolio Manager

We are currently seeking a VAM Portfolio Manager to enhance our dedicated and enthusiastic team at Zentiva. This role is pivotal in optimizing our Value-Added Medicines (VAM) portfolio through targeted marketing, precise forecasting, and effective execution of market strategies.

The successful candidate will hold P&L accountability for the VAM portfolio's overall performance, collaborating closely with Commercial, Business Development, Regulatory, and Medical teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective implementation of initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight of the Channel:
  • Achieve the overall budgeted P&L for this channel.
  • Enhance awareness and growth of the Zentiva portfolio through customer engagement and relationship building within key NHS organizations; develop comprehensive and measurable go-to-market strategies.
  • Utilize market insights to assist the Head of Business Development in identifying and qualifying new leads for innovative medicinal strengths.
  • Establish yourself as the primary resource for knowledge, networks, and environmental insights regarding the VAM portfolio.
Development and Execution of Marketing & Key Account Plans:
  • Meet pre-launch and post-launch KPIs, including sales and volume objectives.
  • Prioritize key accounts effectively.
  • Identify patient groups, diagnosis pathways, access trends, and integrate these into key account strategies.
  • Promote a positive image of Zentiva and raise awareness of newly available Value-Added Medicines among relevant customer segments.
  • Implement marketing communications activities to engage the target audience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Proven ability to influence relationships and leverage expertise across a matrix organization in alignment with the agreed business plan.
  • In-depth understanding of primary and secondary care markets, product supply chains, and associated financial frameworks and reimbursement processes.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding performance goals.
  • Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice and corporate policies, with practical application experience.
  • Ability to swiftly and accurately evaluate and communicate business opportunities.
  • Proficient in forecasting sales results based on comprehensive environmental analysis and a positive approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills.
