Building Services Maintenance Engineer – Facilities Management Provider

We are excited to present a position with a well-established Facilities Management Provider, focusing on high-end residential properties. The ideal candidates will possess electrical qualifications (C&G Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical) and demonstrate a solid background in commercial property maintenance. Collaborating with the on-site maintenance team, the successful individual will be responsible for executing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across luxury residential buildings.

This role is part of a dynamic team of engineers working on a new contract.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Compensation Package
  • Basic Salary: £40-47,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical / Fabric maintenance
  • Lighting tasks (including small installations, fault diagnosis, lamp replacement, ballast changes, control panel work, and power distribution)
  • Conduct emergency lighting inspections
  • Maintain Air Handling Units
  • Oversee Building Management Systems
  • Service Air Conditioning Units
  • Manage Cold Water Systems
  • Maintain Heating and Ventilation Systems
  • Conduct emergency lighting checks
  • Service Fan Coil Units
  • Oversee Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • Handle basic plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
  • Monitor BMS Systems (i.e., Hot & Cold water)
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
  • Participate in client meetings as necessary
  • Ensure maintenance logbooks are accurately maintained
Candidate Requirements
  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • City & Guilds - 17th / 18th Edition certification
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with a diverse skill set
  • Strong communication abilities
